Join us Tuesday, November 18, at 7:00 PM (Eastern Time) for a powerful Zoom-only presentation with internationally acclaimed photojournalist Peter Turnley, titled Moments of the Human Condition – 50 Years of Photographs.
We are opening this special event to members of other photography clubs as well. However, since attendance is limited, advance registration is required. The first 100 to register will be admitted free of charge.
Please note: The registration list will also be shared with Peter, who plans to surprise one or more attendees with a special gift during his presentation. Something personally meaningful from him as a token of appreciation. What that gift will be remains a mystery, but knowing Peter, it will be something truly memorable.
Peter will be presenting live from France, his home since moving there in 1978. Because France is six hours ahead of us, Peter is graciously joining us at 1:00 AM his time. A true gift to our club and a testament to his generosity and passion for sharing his art.
Peter’s work has appeared on the cover of Newsweek forty-three times, and his photographs have captured history’s defining moments and the quiet beauty of everyday humanity in more than ninety countries.
Chad Barr, president of Chagrin Valley, had the privilege of spending a week with Peter in New York City this past June, and it completely changed his focus and deepened my love for photography. This will be one of the most profound presentations you’ve ever seen. We can’t wait for Peter to share his stories, his empathy, and his remarkable photographic journey with all of us.
